AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING SPECIAL USE ORDINANCE #0-120-91
1316 N. RAND ROAD (CASE NO. 12-56)
WHEREAS, Ordinance #0·120-91 granted a Special Use for the operation of a
restaurant (Indian D-Lite) in May, 2012, however, the operator never opened, on the
property commonly known as 1316 N. Rand Road; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 14.05(h) in Appendix A, in the event of the sale
or lease of this business, the Special Use may be transferred after review and consent
of the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council did meet on June 25,2012 to review a request by
Manus Lositisuk that the restaurant be transferred to permit the continued operation
of a restaurant (Thai D-Lite), with no substantial changes, and it was the
recommendation of the Village Council that the transfer of the Special Use to Manus
Lositisuk be approved without amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Village Council ofthe
Village of Palatine:
SECTION 1: That the Special Use granted by Ordinance #0·120·91 is hereby
transferred to Manus Lositisuk to permit the continued operation ofa restaurant (Thai
D-Lite).
SECTION 2: All conditions of Special Use Ordinance #0·120·91, shall remain in
full force and effect.
