BACKGROUND: On this evening's Village Council agenda is a request for a transfer
of a Special Use for EI Patron restaurant at 1540 N. Rand Road (formerly Tony's Pizza
Peddlers). This will be full service casuallVlexican dining restaurant.
The Petitioner is requesting a Class D liquor license (restaurant).
Proposed hours of operation are Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 10 pm and Friday and
Saturday from 10 am to 1 am.
KEY ISSUES: A copy of the floor plan and menus are enclosed as well as a business
plan. The Petitioner will be present Monday evening to answer any questions of the
Council. An Ordinance has been prepared increasing the number of Class D liquor
licenses by one (18 to 19).
ALTERNATIVES:
1. Approve the ordinance increasing the number of Class D
liquor licenses.
2. Do not approve the ordinance.
RECOMMENDATION: Action is atthe discretion of the Committee.
BUDGET IMPACT: Class D annual fee is $3,184.00
