BACKGROUND: On this evening's <strong>Village</strong> Council agenda is a request for a transfer<br />

<strong>of</strong> a Special Use for EI Patron restaurant at 1540 N. Rand Road (formerly Tony's Pizza<br />

Peddlers). This will be full service casuallVlexican dining restaurant.<br />

The Petitioner is requesting a Class D liquor license (restaurant).<br />

Proposed hours <strong>of</strong> operation are Monday - Thursday, 10 am to 10 pm and Friday and<br />

Saturday from 10 am to 1 am.<br />

KEY ISSUES: A copy <strong>of</strong> the floor plan and menus are enclosed as well as a business<br />

plan. The Petitioner will be present Monday evening to answer any questions <strong>of</strong> the<br />

Council. An Ordinance has been prepared increasing the number <strong>of</strong> Class D liquor<br />

licenses by one (18 to 19).<br />

ALTERNATIVES:<br />

1. Approve the ordinance increasing the number <strong>of</strong> Class D<br />

liquor licenses.<br />

2. Do not approve the ordinance.<br />

RECOMMENDATION: Action is atthe discretion <strong>of</strong> the Committee.<br />

BUDGET IMPACT: Class D annual fee is $3,184.00<br />
