AN ORDINANCE GRANTING A SPECIAL USE FOR
1 N. BOTHWELL STREET (CASE NO. 12-48)
WHEREAS, pursuant to a petition and public hearing on June 12, 2012, of which
public notice was given as required by law, the Zoning Board of Appeals of the
Village of Palatine, in accordance with the Zoning Ordinance of the Village of
Palatine, in such case made and provided, has held such public hearing and
reported their findings relative to a request for a Special Use to permit a health club
(Yoga Studio) larger than 3,000 square feet pursuant to Section 11.02(d)(17) of the
Palatine Zoning Ordinance, on the following legally described property:
Lot 4 in Block "M" in the Town of Palatine, a subdivision of the West 16 2/3
acres of the South 31 acres of the South 31 acres of the West 1/2 of the
Southwest 1/4 of Section 14 and the Southeast 24.12 acres of the South 31
acres of the East 1/2 of the Southeast 1/4 of Section 15, Township 42 North,
Range 10 East of the Third Principal Meridian, in Cook County, Illinois
commonly known as 1N. Bothwell Street (PIN #02-15-431-008)
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Village Council ofthe
Village of Palatine, Cook County, Illinois, acting in the exercise of their home rule
power that:
SECTION 1: A Special Use to permit a health club (Yoga Studio) larger than
3,000 square feet pursuant to Section 11.02(d)(17) of the Palatine Zoning Ordinance,
is hereby granted, subject to the following condition:
