AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING SPECIAL USE ORDINANCE #0-190-05
1540 N. RAND ROAD (MALDONADO) (CASE NO. 12-54)
WHEREAS, Ordinance #0-190-05 granted a Special Use forthe operation of
a restaurant (EI Patron) on the property commonly known as 1540 N. Rand Road; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 14.05(h) in Appendix A, in the event ofthe sale or
lease of this business, the Special Use may be transferred after review and consent of
the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council did meet on June 25,2012 to review a request by
George Maldonado that the restaurant be transferred to permitthe continued operation
of a restaurant with no substantial changes, except a name change to EI Patron, and it
was the recommendation of the Village Council that the transfer of the Special Use to
George Maldonado be approved without amendment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, by the Mayor and Village Council of the
Village of Palatine:
SECTION 1: That the Special Use granted by Ordinance #0-190-05 is hereby
transferred to George Maldonado to permit the continued operation of a Restaurant.
SECTION 2: All conditions of Special Use Ordinance #0-190-05 shall remain in
full force and effect.
