4.4 EGC Messages<br />
4. INMARSAT C COMMUNICATIONS<br />
When an EGC message is received, RECEIVING EGC MESSAGE appears at<br />
the bottom left corner of the display. If Auto Message Save in the Auto Mode<br />
Setup is ON, EGC messages are automatically printed. EGC messages are<br />
automatically received, printed and saved to the terminal unit selected with EGC<br />
Output Port on the System Setup menu. The memory capacity for EGC<br />
message is 32 Kbytes. When the EGC message memory becomes full, the<br />
oldest EGC message is automatically deleted.<br />
4.4.1 Displaying and reprinting EGC messages<br />
1. Press the [F4] key.<br />

3. Press the [↑] or [↓] key to scroll the screen.<br />
4. To print a message, press the [P] key while pressing the [Ctrl] key. To stop<br />
printing, press the [Esc] key.<br />
5. Press the [Esc] key to return to the standby display.<br />
EGC messages can be automatically saved to a floppy disk. See paragraph<br />
2.4.4 for details.<br />
