1.2 Keyboard<br />

The <strong>FELCOM</strong> <strong>15</strong> is almost <strong>10</strong>0% keyboard controlled. Operation is carried out<br />

with the function keys, numbered F1-F<strong>10</strong> at the top of the keyboard. The figure<br />

below shows keyboard layout.<br />

Cancels key input and returns to previous display<br />

screen.<br />

These are the function keys, and they choose<br />

menus.<br />

Deletes the character to the left of the cursor.<br />

Works the same as “paste.” See “Copying and<br />

pasting text” in paragraph 3.2.4.<br />

Deletes the character selected with the cursor.<br />

Moves the cursor to the top of the message being<br />

edited.<br />

Moves the cursor to the bottom of the message<br />

being edited.<br />

Goes to the previous page of the edit screen.<br />

Goes to the next page of the edit screen.<br />

Control the cursor.<br />

Registers key input; inserts carriage return in TX<br />

message.<br />

Chooses upper or lower case alphabet. Press and<br />

hold down the key and then press the [Caps Lock] to<br />

get upper or lower case alphabet. Note that only<br />

upper case alphabet are used in telex.<br />

Executes the shortcut key operation when combined<br />

with an alphabet key. See paragraph 1.2.2.<br />
