Chapter 3 Features and FunctionsArbitrary WaveformsAdditional Information on Arbitrary Waveformsœ Press the Arb key to output the arbitrary waveform currentlyselected (to scroll through the waveform choices and make aselection, press Arb List ).œ In addition to creating a new arbitrary waveform from the frontpanel, you can also edit any existing user-defined waveforms. You canedit waveforms created either from the front panel or from theremote interface. However, you cannot edit any of the five built-inarbitrary waveforms.Use the “GET” option under the NEW ARB command in the EDIT MENUto load an existing user-defined waveform. Then, use the LINE EDIT,POINT EDIT, and INVERT commands to edit the waveform.œ The INVERT command in the EDIT MENU takes the inverse of eachpoint in the specified waveform by changing the sign.œ You can use the DELETE command in the EDIT MENU to delete anyuser-defined waveforms in volatile memory. A list of all user-definedwaveforms appears when you move to the DELETE command.108
