Chapter 3 Features and FunctionsOutput ConfigurationOutput UnitsApplies only to output amplitude (does not affect offset). At power-on,the units for output amplitude are volts peak-to-peak.œ Output units: Vpp, Vrms, or dBm. The default is Vpp.œ The unit setting is stored in volatile memory; the units are set to“Vpp” when power has been off or after a remote interface reset.œ When switching from remote programming over the interface back tofront-panel (local) operation, the output units are remembered.For example, if you select “Vrms” from the remote interface, the unitsare shown as “Vrms” on the front-panel display.œ Front-Panel Operation: Use the “Enter Number” units keys(the arrow keys located on the right side of the front panel) to selectthe output units. You can also convert from one unit to another fromthe front panel.
