SETTING <strong>ECOPROBE</strong> 5 BEFORE STARTING TO MEASURE<br />

In the following chapter we describe how to set the paramete<strong>rs</strong> in the Configuration File (Window W.3) for an<br />

area to be investigated and how to unde<strong>rs</strong>tand various paramete<strong>rs</strong>.<br />

3.1 SETTING UP THE LOCALITY PARAMETERS<br />

To enter a name of the locality to be surveyed and to make possible changes to the paramete<strong>rs</strong> you have to<br />

open the Configuration File (Window W. 3) for a new locality. Select LOCALITY MANAGEMENT from the Main<br />

Menu (Window W. 2) and open Window W. 4.<br />

� Select either Open LOCALITY 1 or Open LOCALITY 2<br />

(Window W. 4). Both items offer the same menu – a list<br />

of existing localities and the option of a new locality<br />

(Window W. 5).<br />

� Select the option < new >. The Configuration File with<br />

default settings will be displayed on the instrument<br />

screen (Window W. 3).<br />
