The performance managementsystem is implemented to section 57 managers but the municipality has a plan of cascading to all employees in thenear future.oPerformance Management ModelThe Nkomazi Local Municipality has adopted the balanced scorecard as its performance management model. TheBalanced scorecard fully integrates with the IDP as the IDP provides the basic framework of performanceexpectations. It is a proven tool that creates synergy and enables alignment of priorities and coherent reporting.o Performance Agreement 2011/12Nkomazi Local Municipality section 57 managers have entered into Performance Agreement with the municipality forthe financial year 2011/12. This is in line with the MSA of 2000 and performance regulations.
