Use a pencil orsomething similar to remove any slack.▼ Operating Tips for Mini Disc(MD) PlayerThe following precautions should beobserved.• Do not spill any liquid on the audiosystem.• Only cassette tapes that play no longerthan 90 minutes should be used.Cassette tape exceeding 90 minutes arethin and may easily break.• Do not leave a cassette tape in the tapeplayer slot when not in use. Remove itcompletely to permit the slot door toclose and to protect the mechanismfrom dust.• Store cassette tapes away from extremeheat, magnetic fields, and directsunlight. Protect the exposed cassettetape from dirt and damage. Storecassette tapes in their original cases orother protective cases.• Do not insert any objects, other thanMDs, into the slot.• The MD player has been designed toplay MDs bearing the identificationlogo as shown. (MDLPs bearing theidentification logo as shown below).• When inserting the MD, make sure theMD label is facing up, and the MD isoriented to the insertion slot in thedirection of the arrow. If not insertedcorrectly, the MD will be ejected, ormay remain stuck in the MD deck.▼ Operating Tips for CD Player/In-Dash CD ChangerCondensation phenomenonImmediately after turning on the heaterwhen the vehicle is cold, the CD or opticalcomponents (prism and lens) in the CDplayer/changer may become clouded withcondensation. At this time, the CD willeject immediately when placed in the unit.A clouded CD can be corrected simply bywiping it with a soft cloth. Cloudedoptical components will clear naturally inabout an hour. Wait for normal operationto return before attempting to use the unit.Handling the CD player/In-dash CDchangerThe following precautions should beobserved.• Do not spill any liquid on the audiosystem.• Do not touch the internal part of theMD.
