Open the front door first.CAUTIONBefore closing a front door make sureother passengers are not operating arear door and a rear passenger’s heador hands are away from the rear door.If the front door is closed while apassenger is operating the rear doorhandle, a hand or fingers could beinjured if the handle is forced back.Also, a rear passenger could hit theirhead against the door during access tothe rear seat.NOTEFront door2. Pull the rear door handle and open therear door.Rear door handle• The rear door cannot be openedwhile the front door is closed.• Make sure the front seatbelt isunfastened before the rear door isopened. The rear door can’t beopened with the front seatbeltfastened because the front seatbeltmay lock.• If any door is left open for morethan about an hour, the frontseatbelt will lock, and the rear doorcannot be opened. If this happens,close all doors and open the reardoor again.• This vehicle is not equipped withchild safety locks due to the designof the front and rear doors. The reardoors must be closed before thefront doors, and the rear doorscannot be opened until the frontdoors are opened.3-9Form No. 8R65-EA-03C
