Slide the hood latch to the right and liftthe hood.WARNINGClosed and Securely Locked Hood:A hood that is not closed and securelylocked is dangerous as it could flyopen while the vehicle is moving andblock the driver’s vision which couldresult in a serious accident. Alwayscheck that the hood is closed andsecurely locked.▼ Opening the Hood1. With the vehicle parked, pull therelease handle to unlock the hood.3. Use the support rod to hold the hoodopen.ClipRelease handleSupport rod▼ Closing the Hood1. Check under the hood area to makecertain all filler caps are in place andall loose items (e.g. tools, oilcontainers, etc.) have been removed.2. Secure the rod in its clip, while holdingup the hood.3.
