A collision, even onenot strong enough to inflate the airbags, could damage the sensors. Ifthere was a subsequent collision, adamaged sensor would not inflate theair bags. Always have an Authorized<strong>Mazda</strong> Dealer inspect the air bagsystems after a collision.Removing Interior Parts:Removing any components such asthe front seat, front dashboard, thesteering wheel or parts on the frontand rear window pillars and along theroof edge, containing air bag parts orsensors is dangerous. These partscontain essential air bag parts. Theair bag could accidentally activateand cause serious injuries. Alwayshave an Authorized <strong>Mazda</strong> Dealerremove these parts.Air Bag Disposal:Improper disposal of an air bag or avehicle with live air bags in it can beextremely dangerous. Unless allsafety procedures are followed, injurycan result. Ask an Authorized <strong>Mazda</strong>Dealer how to safely dispose of an airbag or how to scrap an air bagequipped vehicle.2-39Form No. 8R65-EA-03C
