Braking and handlingcould be affected, leading to loss ofcontrol and an accident. Always usewheels of the correct size on yourvehicle.CAUTION• A wrong-sized wheel mayadversely affect:• Tire fit• Wheel and bearing life• Ground clearance• Snow-chain clearance• Speedometer calibration• Headlight aim• Bumper height• Tire Pressure Monitoring System• Limited-Slip Differential System• (With Tire Pressure MonitoringSystem)• When replacing/repairing thetires or wheels or both, have thework done by an Authorized<strong>Mazda</strong> Dealer, or the tirepressure sensors may bedamaged.• The wheels equipped on your<strong>Mazda</strong> are specially designed forinstallation the tire pressuresensors. Do not use non-genuinewheels, otherwise it may not bepossible to install the tirepressure sensors.NOTEBe sure to install the tire pressuresensors whenever tires or wheels arereplaced.(page 5-27)When replacing a wheel, make sure thenew one is the same as the original factorywheel in diameter, rim width, and offset.Proper tire balancing provides the bestriding comfort and helps reduce treadwear.
