Operation ofthe shift/selector lever could beobstructed resulting in a seriousaccident. Secure long objects in thetrunk so that they cannot be thrownforward in the cabin and avoidsudden braking or maneuvering.6-47Form No. 8R65-EA-03C
J60E_8R65-EA-03C_Edition2.book Page 48 Saturday, April 26, 2003 1:48 PMInterior ComfortInterior EquipmentAccessory SocketThe ignition switch must be in the ACC orON position.Only use genuine <strong>Mazda</strong> accessories orthe equivalent requiring no greater than120 W (DC12 V, 10 A).The accessory socket is in the centerconsole.NOTETo prevent discharging the battery,don’t use the socket for long periodswith the engine off or idling.CAUTIONTo prevent accessory socket damage orelectrical failure, pay attention to thefollowing:• Don’t use accessories that requiremore than 120 W (DC12 V, 10 A).• Don’t use accessories that are notgenuine <strong>Mazda</strong> accessories or theequivalent.• Close the cover when the accessorysocket is not in use.• Correctly insert the plug into theaccessory socket.6-48Form No. 8R65-EA-03C
