Maintain recommended pressuresfor the best ride, top handling, andminimum tire wear.WARNINGUsing Different Tire Types:Driving your vehicle with differenttypes of tires is dangerous. It couldcause poor handling and poorbraking; leading to loss of control.Use all radial, all bias-belted, or allbias-type tires.Using Wrong-Sized Tires:Using any other tire size than what isspecified for your Mazda (page 10-7)is dangerous. It could seriously affectride, handling, ground clearance, tireclearance, and speedometercalibration. This could cause you tohave an accident. Use only tires thatare the correct size specified for yourMazda.▼ Tire Inflation PressureWARNINGIncorrect Tire Inflation:Overinflation or underinflation oftires is dangerous. Adverse handlingor unexpected tire failure could resultin a serious accident. Always inflatethe tires to the correct pressure (page10-7).Refer to the specification charts (page10-7).NOTE• Warm tires normally exceedrecommended pressures. Don’trelease air from warm tires to adjustthe pressure.• Underinflation can cause reducedfuel economy and poor sealing ofthe tire bead, which will deform thewheel and cause separation of tirefrom rim.• Overinflation can produce a harshride and a greater possibility ofdamage from road hazards.Keep your tire pressure at thecorrect levels.
