This tire’sdiameter is smaller than aconventional tire’s, so the groundclearance is reduced about 25 mm(1 in).• Don’t use a tire chain on this tirebecause it won’t fit properly.• Don’t use your temporary spare onany other vehicle; it has beendesigned only for your Mazda.• Use only one temporary spare tireon your vehicle at the same time.(With limited slip differential)When using the temporary spare tireon the rear axle, replace it with astandard tire as soon as possible. Thesize difference between the spare andthe standard tire will cause the limitedslip differential to malfunction.Instant Mobility System(IMS) Emergency Flat TireRepair KitThe IMS emergency flat tire repair kitincluded with your Mazda is for atemporary repair of a slightly damagedflat tire resulting from running over nailsor similar sharp objects on the roadsurface.NOTEYour vehicle is not equipped with aspare tire. In the event of a flat tire, usethe emergency flat tire repair kit torepair the tire temporarily. When doingthe repair, refer to the instructionsincluded in the emergency flat tirerepair kit. After temporarily repairing atire with the emergency flat tire repairkit, take your vehicle to an AuthorizedMazda Dealer to have the tire replaced.NOTE(With Tire Pressure MonitoringSystem)A tire pressure sensor is not installedto the temporary spare tire.
