Others The quarry has provided employment to 17 people out ofwhich 12 are muster roll workers and 5 are regularemployees of CDCL.The management does not have the practice of sprayingwater in the quarry and the approach road.The management has already planned for three more checkdams to be constructed at the waste dump.1.40 RecommendationThe management should ensure that the quarry is operated strictly as per the FMFS report,EMP and environmental clearance at all times.There is a need to expedite the development of proper benches at the quarry using adequatenumber of equipment failing which the business sustainability will be in question.The management should ensure to spray water at the quarry and the approach road tosuppress dusts.Visual impact must be minimized.Provide toilet and drinking water supply at the quarry.Restore the environmental destructions caused by the construction of approach roadwherever quarrying is not to be done. This in turn would also reduce the visual impact ofthe area.103
