The aerial distance was about 50 to 70 meters.A newly constructed farm road passes right below themine.There were some stretches where pocket mining wasdone.The mine-out area had not been restored <strong>and</strong> was leftto the nature <strong>for</strong> regeneration.Waste dump-yard was located above the farm road.Overburden spills into Kharikhola basin, which passesthrough the mine.There was no channeling of mine water.1.22 RecommendationThe management has to construct uni<strong>for</strong>m benches <strong>and</strong> widths as mentioned in the FMFS<strong>and</strong> EMP including waste dump-yard.Restoration work was not carried out at the mine-out area. The management has to carryout restoration activities <strong>for</strong> those mine-out areas, instead of letting up to the nature <strong>for</strong>regeneration.60
