Some of the undersize materialsgenerated were used on the road and rests were disposedoff as water material.Worker employed were about of 60.Safety boot was made available only to the regular staff.Channeling of mine water was not developed and therewas no electricity at the base office.1.9 RecommendationThe height of the waste disposed was kept high. The management has to reduce andmaintain as specified in the FMFS and EMP.The retaining wall constructed along the approach road which also serves as the check damfor arresting the waste has to be lengthened and also construct additional check dam justabove the retaining wall.The management has to continue to apply control blasting technique and break manuallywhich has not only helped in reduction of undersize but also noise level.35
