To prevent and avoid such incident, themanagement has to continue the construction of proper channeling of surface water andcomplete before the onset of monsoon.As maintained, the management should prevent from touching top portion of the minewhere drinking water supply line is connected.The management has to construct uniform benches and widths as mentioned in the FMFSand EMP including waste dump-yard.The management has to provide sanitation facilities and first-aid –kit for the workers at thesite.Prior to the ceasing of the mining operation, the management should develop a projectproposal on environment restoration plan which is submitted to DGM and NECS forapproval and execute the same as approved.48
