This could affect the farm road whichpassed below the mine. To prevent and avoid such incident, the management has toconstruct proper channeling of surface water and complete before the onset ofmonsoon.The management has to prevent development of pond at the base of the waste dumpyardwhich could trigger flash flood.The management has to construct uniform benches and widths as mentioned in theFMFS and EMP including waste dump-yard.Restoration work was not carried out at the mine-out area. The management has tocarry out restoration activities for those mine-out areas, instead of letting up to thenature for regeneration.The management has to develop proper channeling of mine water in the mining areabefore the onset of monsoon.The management has to provide sanitation facilities and first-aid –kit for the workers atthe site.The management has to ensure that because of the mine activities, the farm road whichpasses below the mine should not be disturbed and damaged.Prior to the ceasing of the mining operation, the management should develop a projectproposal on environment restoration plan which is submitted to DGM and NECS forapproval and execute the same as approved.46
