• For Installing XML Paper Specification (XPS) Print DriverNOTE:• XML Paper Specification (XPS) driver is supported on the following operating systems: Windows Vista, Windows Vista 64-bitEdition, Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 64-bit Edition, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows 7, Windows 7 64-bitEdition, Windows 8, Windows 8 64-bit Edition, and Windows Server 2012.Windows Vista and Windows Vista 64-bit Edition1 Click Start → Control Panel → Hardware and Sound → Printers.2 Click Add a printer.3 Click Add a network, wireless or Bluetooth printer.4 Select printer or click The printer that I want isn't listed.When you select your printer, go to step 7.When you click The printer that I want isn't listed, go to step 5.5 Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or host name, and then click Next.6 Select TCP/IP Device from Device type, and enter the IP address for Hostname or IP address, and then clickNext.If the User Account Control dialog box appears, click Continue.NOTE:• If you are an administrator on the computer, click Continue; otherwise, contact your administrator to continue the desiredaction.7 Click Have Disk to display the Install From Disk dialog box.8 Click Browse, and then select the extracted setup information (.inf) file in "For Installing XML PaperSpecification (XPS) Print Driver" on page 75.9 Click Open.10 Click OK.11 Select your printer name and click Next.12 To change the printer name, enter the printer name in the Printer name box.To use this printer as the default printer, select the Set as the default printer check box.Installation starts.13 Click Next.14 As the driver installation is completed, click Print a test page to print a test page.15 Click Finish.Printer Connection and Software Installation 79
