Legislation that applies to <strong>asbestos</strong> removal66. Where an employer or self-employed person who does not have a licenceregularly performs m<strong>in</strong>or contam<strong>in</strong>ation removal work of non-friable ACMor <strong>asbestos</strong>-contam<strong>in</strong>ated dust, it is recommended a log is kept of timespent perform<strong>in</strong>g these tasks. This log will assist <strong>in</strong> ensur<strong>in</strong>g the duration oftime spent perform<strong>in</strong>g this work does not exceed the time limitations outl<strong>in</strong>ed<strong>in</strong> paragraph 58 to 61. If the time constra<strong>in</strong>ts will be exceeded, a licensedremovalist is required to perform the removal work. The employer orself-employed person may also consider apply<strong>in</strong>g for a licence to remove ACM.67.
