If considerably low weight, consider it unserviceable.Note: Often HFEs in excess of those required (by MEL provisions) may be U/S, however in such a case, check against theMEL to verify compliance with the applicable (M) and/or (O) procedures. If the latter MEL actions have not been applied,a finding should be raised using the "detection / reporting / assessment of significant technical defect" procedure (seeChapter 4.2 above).Note: ICAO does not require hand fire extinguishers to have an expiration (or next check) date. Operators may employ varioussystems to monitor the condition of the extinguishers. An extinguisher without a date does not necessarily constitute afinding.
