Standard’s Text Pre-described Finding PDF code Instructions for completingthe detailed descriptionA8-IIIB-8/.4 8.4 EvacuationThe aeroplane shall be equipped with sufficient emergencyexits to allow maximum opportunity for cabin evacuationwithin an appropriate time period. Items to be consideredshall include:a) number of seats and seating configuration;b) number, location and size of exits;c) marking of exits and provision of instructions for use;d) likely blockages of exits;e) operation of exits; andA8-IIIB-4.6.2-4f) positioning and weight of evacuation equipment at exits,e.g. slides and rafts.4.6.2 Facilities shall be provided for the rapid evacuation ofthe aeroplane in conditions likely to occur following anemergency landing.
