Ifevidence of damage or leakage is found, thearea where the dangerous goods or unit loaddevice were stowed on the aircraft shall beinspected for damage or contamination.D02 I 3 A18-8.8 When dangerous goods subject to the provisionscontained herein are loaded in an aircraft, theoperator shall protect the dangerous goods frombeing damaged, and shall secure such goods inthe aircraft in such a manner that will preventany movement in flight which would change theorientation of the packages. The primary and subsidiaryhazard class(es) or division(s) numbers of suchdangerous goods must be clearly marked on thistag.• 2.7.3 If the unit load device contains packagesbearing “Cargo aircraft only” label, either thatlabel must be visible or the tag must indicate thatthe unit load device can only be loaded on acargo aircraft.• 2.7.4 The tag must be removed from the unitload device immediately after the dangerousgoods have been unloaded.• 2.7.1 Each unit load device containingdangerous goods which require a class hazardlabel must clearly display on its exterior anindication that dangerous goods are containedwithin the unit load device, unless those hazardclass labels are themselves visible.• 2.7.2 This indication must be provided byattaching to the unit load device an identificationtag having a border of prominent red hatchingson both sides and the minimum dimensions of148mmx 210 mm.
