Major types <strong>of</strong> child abuse includephysical, emotional, sexual and neglect. The effects <strong>of</strong> child abuse can lead to shortand long-term vulnerability.During the 2002 <strong>Census</strong> a community questionnaire was administered to over 40thousand Local Council 1 (LC1) to investigate various socio-economic issues.
