These may include special educationor skills training, medical rehabilitation, vocational rehabilitation, etc. Government,through the PEAP is committed towards the expansion <strong>of</strong> Community BasedRehabilitation services, as an issue for priority attention in addition to othermainstreaming interventions for PWD’s.45 percent <strong>of</strong>PWD’s did notreceive anyrehabilitationmeasureInformation was collected on persons with disabilities whether they had received anymeasures to improve their performance <strong>of</strong> activities during the 12 months prior to thecensus. Nearly 45 percent <strong>of</strong> PWD’s reported that they had not received any form <strong>of</strong>rehabilitation. The percentage for PWD’s without any rehabilitation varied by type <strong>of</strong>disability. Those with speech difficulties had higher percentages (65 percent)compared to 42 percent for PWD’s with mobility problems.122
