After, explain that we will be doing an activity to clarifymisconceptions about HIV and AIDS. Using string, chalk, or tape,draw two rivers down the middle of the room. Ask participantsto stand in a single line between the two rivers. Explain thatthey are standing on a bank between two rivers. The river totheir right-hand side is the True River. The river on the left-handside is the False River. Explain that you will read a series ofstatements about HIV : If they believe the statement is true theyshould stand in the True River; If they believe the statement isfalse they should stand in the False River.
