'trust account established.(I) To assure the timely payment of wages to police offcers who perform off-dutyservicef and to meet the requirements of the Fai Labor Stadads Act, the <strong>City</strong> of '<strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong> has established a trt tf account known as the ,"Off-DutyEmploymel\t Trust Account"~ Ths fw trt tf account is dedicated for thereceipt of fees collected (from private persons or entities) for the payment (to polieeoffieers) for off-duty (01 ontide) employment' (sei viees). The "Off-DutyEmployment Trust Account" shall be administered by the Fiscal Bureau ofthe <strong>Jersey</strong><strong>City</strong> Police Deparent~ which shall make a wrtten report to the Chief of Policeevery ninety (90) Days regarding said account. Payments to police offcers shall beon abi-weekly basis with all appropriate deductions. All payments must be remitteddirectly to the <strong>City</strong> of <strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong> for said account. Deposits shall be in the form ofcertified check, ban check. money order of business check. at the discretion of theFiscal Offcer.(2) Hour Estimate, .ú Hours Known: (Any pei son 01 enity requesting the sei viees) A prospectiveemployer of an off-duty (law cireent) police offcer (in th <strong>City</strong> of<strong>Jersey</strong> <strong>City</strong> Police Deparieirt shall estimate the number ofhours (sue lawenoreemen ser vices are) requied. The fw estimate shall be approvedin wrting by the Chief of Police, (or his 01 lier. designee, and shall estalisha Tnist Accotm with the "Off-Dut Emloyment Trust Accotm"depositthe amo tort and an amount sufficient to cover the rates of compensation andadminstrative fees set fort in Subsection D for the total estimated hours ofservice shall be deposited into the Trust Account.ff il Hours Unkown or In Excess ofTen nO) Days: .
