The species of thissection are very similar to each other and are difficult to distinguish. In most places on mown verges they have notdeveloped properly and cannot be identified with any certainty.Taraxacum pseudohamatum.3 -+~ ___ ---L+--This is the commonest dandelion in the Flora area and is usually the first species to come intoflower in the spring. It is quite robust and has broad, outer involucral bracts.It is very frequent on verges and one of the commonest species in Britain.
