It is widespread inEurope, but probably not common.4 5Section Ruderalia.This is <strong>the</strong> biggest section <strong>of</strong> Taraxacum in Britain, and <strong>the</strong> species can be very difficult to identify. They tend to be bigrobust species on nutrient-rich soils, and as <strong>the</strong> name suggests <strong>the</strong>y occur as ruderal species in towns and villages - <strong>the</strong>best place to look for <strong>the</strong>m is on <strong>the</strong> scruffy, un mown edges <strong>of</strong> unsurfaced lanes.
