The Program<br />
Minors develop an understanding of dance<br />
as an art form and as a unique cultural<br />
and social expression. Students also attain<br />
a cumulative knowledge of dance as a history<br />
of the world and its people. Students<br />
develop skills in physical techniques, creative<br />
process, collaboration, and performance.<br />
Dance minors are encouraged to participate<br />
in informal and mainstage dance<br />
performances.<br />

REQUIREMENTS FOR THE MINOR<br />
The program must be approved by the dance<br />
minor advisor. Transfer students must complete<br />
nine units at HSU.<br />
