SESSION DESCRIPTION<br />
Laparoscopic liver resection is now utilized for not only select cases of benign liver masses, but also primary and<br />
metastatic liver tumors, and live donor hepatectomy for liver transplantation. This session will provide an overview of<br />
the indications and techniques of laparoscopic liver resection. The session will include educational videos and a Liver<br />
Tumor Board of 4 challenging liver tumor cases.<br />
SESSION OBJECTIVES<br />
At the conclusion of this session, participants will be able to:<br />
• Describe indications for laparoscopic liver resection<br />
• Develop safe and oncologically sound minimally invasive liver resection techniques<br />
• Assess short and long term outcomes of laparoscopic liver resection<br />
