SET UP Using SharePoint Designer, open the site you used in the previous exercise.<br />

Open the DataSourceTest.aspx page and the Data Sources gallery page if they are not<br />

already open.<br />

1. Open your browser. In the address box, type http://technet.microsoft.com.<br />

The Microsoft TechNet site opens.<br />

2. In the search box, type sharepoint <strong>designer</strong> 2010, and then press Enter to display<br />

the search results.<br />

3. In the Results row, right-click the RSS icon, and then click Copy Shortcut.<br />

4. In SharePoint Designer, with the Data Sources gallery page displayed in the workspace,<br />

click REST Service Connection in the New group on the Data Sources tab.<br />

The Data Source Properties dialog box opens.<br />

5. Right-click the Enter the URL to a server-side script box, and then click Paste.<br />

6. Click the Add or Modify Parameters list box.<br />

The parameters from the server-side script appear in the Add Or Modify<br />

Parameters list box. The Query string has a value of sharepoint+<strong>designer</strong>+2010.
