1. In the Navigation pane, click Content Types, and then under Page Layout<br />

Content Types, click Welcome Page.<br />

The Welcome Page settings page is displayed.<br />

2. On the Content Type Settings tab, click Edit Columns, and then on the Columns<br />

tab, click Add Existing Site Column.<br />

The Site Columns Picker dialog box opens, with Enter Search Keywords highlighted.<br />

3. Type rat.<br />

The Site Columns Picker dialog box displays two Ratings site columns: Number Of<br />

Ratings and Rating (0-5).<br />

4. Click Rating (0-5), and then click OK.<br />

The Site Columns Picker dialog box closes, and the Rating (0-5) site column appears<br />

at the bottom of the Welcome Page settings page.<br />

5. On the Quick Access Toolbar, click Save.<br />

6. In the Navigation pane, click Page Layouts. Click the icon to the left of<br />

JobVacancies.aspx, and then on the Page Layouts tab, click Edit File.<br />

In the Toolbox task pane, under Content Fields, Rating (0-5) is displayed.<br />

7. In the Advanced Editor window, place the insertion point below the Page<br />

Content field control. In the Toolbox task pane, under Content Fields, doubleclick<br />

Rating (0-5).<br />

The Rating field control is added to the page layout.
