kr$Qa-namamrta-vanyaya desa bhasaila
SYNONYMS
ei-mata-in this way; paramparaya-by disciplic succession; desa-the coun­
try; vai$Qava haila-became devotees; kr$Qa-nama-amrta-of the nectar of the
holy name of Kr�r:Ja; vanyaya-in the inundation; desa-the whole country;
bhasai/a-overflooded.
TRANSLATION
By hearing the holy name of K�'�a, the entire country became Vai,�ava. It
was as if the nectar of the holy name of K�'�a overflooded the entire country.
