SUMARY<br />

Present research degree is very significant, because it helps the teacher and the father<br />

of family raising the quality of education and learning to strengthen the performance<br />

of children with hearing impairments through sign language. For this reason, which<br />

investigated the following item: "strengthening learning through the language of<br />

signs in children with special capabilities in the second year of EDUCACIÓN<br />

BÁSICA of the Institute of the deaf of CHIMBORAZO, RIOBAMBA, 2011 period<br />

CANTÓN - 2012".<br />

The researchers of this project Ms. JANETH GUAMAN, and Miss. GLADYS<br />

POMAGUALLI detected the following problem: how to influence the technique of<br />

sign language in the learning of children in the second year of basic education of the<br />

Chimborazo deaf Institute 2011-2012 period?. To thus help guide to the parents and<br />

students through a design of training programs, educating the parents on sign<br />

language so they can have a good communication with their children, enabling them<br />

to develop and maintain a better learning. It is the case that students will be sure to<br />

have a good communication with their parents and go has get help on their<br />

homework, which will enable them to strengthen their learning, this could learn to<br />

valued, love, appreciate and accept himself that self-esteem is a very important<br />

aspect of the personality and the achievement of the identity of an adaption...<br />

This work is based on the analysis of data from the survey conducted to teachers and<br />

students, the same that allowed us to get to know the status of learning in children of<br />

second year of basic education.<br />

That is why it is recommended programs training workshops to teach parents to<br />

communicate directly with their children to understand sign language to have the<br />

same idea and concept, support them in their work that will influence learning and<br />

school performance.<br />
