DESTINATIONS Antotorogno est l’un des sites importants touristiquement à voir à Nosy Komba. Les villageois y pratiquent encore la pêche à la nage sans oublier les divers lémuriens qui ont "envahi" cet ilôt. Nosy Komba, une des îles voisines de Nosy Be abrite le village d’Antotorogno : le village des pêcheurs. Ce village mérite le détour, grâce aux nombreux aspects intéressants de l’île de Nosy Komba. Une nature prospère et riche en beauté font du village une adresse incontournable lors des visites de l’île de Nosy Be. Autres atouts indéniables, la pêche à la nage est pratiquée par plus de 90% des hommes du village. A part les richesses aquatiques, Antotorogno renferme également des espèces rares au niveau de la faune et de la flore, et les derniers baobabs de l’île Komba. Aujourd’hui, le circuit baobab est une nouvelle destination pour tous ceux qui veulent profiter d’un trekking. Il est conseillé aux amateurs de nature ou de randonnée. Par une montée, ce circuit mène à un belvédère à 200 m d’altitude. La vue panoramique à partir de ce point est exceptionnelle, une vue qui peut atteindre jusqu’à Nosy Faly… sensation garantie. La durée de la visite est en moyenne de 1 heure au départ du village d’Antotorogno. Une des spécificités du site est aussi la médecine traditionnelle : le « hotra » ou massage qui permet de soigner certaines maladies et spécifiquement les fractures et entorses, en utilisant comme médicament des compositions de feuilles. Ce mode de traitement est d’ailleurs reconnue par le ministère de la santé par le biais des associations des « tradi-praticiens » ; un don qui se transmet en famille. Having strengths beyond dispute, harpoon fishing is practiced by more than 90% of the men of the village. Besides its aquatic riches, Antotorogno also contains rare species of fauna and flora, and the last baobabs of Komba Island. Today, the baobab tour is a new destination for all those who want to enjoy trekking. Recommended for trekking or hiking enthusiasts. Rich in uphill paths, this circuit leads to a belvedere of 200m altitude. The panoramic view from this point is exceptional, a view that can reach up to Nosy Faly ... sensations guaranteed. The duration of the visit is on average 1 hour from Antotorogno village. One of the specific characteristics of the site is also traditional medicine: the "hotra" or massage which makes it possible to treat certain diseases and specifically fractures and sprains, using compositions of leaves as medication. This method of treatment is recognised by the Ministry of Health through the associations of "tradipractitioners"; a gift that is handed down to family.
