Comme capitaine du bateau nous avons Samira<br />
MOUMINI, jeune et talentueuse styliste malgache. Au<br />
capitaine, elle reste à bord de son navire.<br />
Le « Pirates » c’était pour souligner<br />
un peu notre côté garçon manqué .<br />
A brand that stands out<br />
As captain of the boat we have Samira MOUMINI, a young<br />
and talented Malagasy stylist. At the very beginning<br />
of the journey they were three women, being a good<br />
captain, she remained in her ship.<br />
The "Pirates" was to emphasise<br />
our tomboy side a bit.<br />
Prime Media : 3 Ladies Pirates, parlez-nous de votre bateau<br />
et de votre voyage ?<br />
Samira : 3 Ladies Pirates est une marque malgache qui<br />
fait du prêt-à porter. Pourquoi ce nom ? Parce qu’à l’origine<br />
nous étions trois femmes. Le « Pirates » c’était pour<br />
souligner un peu notre côté garçon manqué (nous n’aimons<br />

your trip?<br />
Samira : 3 Ladies Pirates is a Malagasy brand that makes<br />
ready-to-wear. Why this name? Because we were originally<br />
three women. The "Pirates" was to emphasise a bit our<br />
all the feminine clichés).<br />
Prime Media : Qu'est-ce qui distinguent vos vêtements de<br />
la concurrence ?<br />
Samira : Depuis maintenant un an nous travaillons sur<br />
le lambahoany avec pour objectif de lui donner plus de<br />
visibilité et d’en faire un tissu « fashion ». On peut dire que<br />
c’est chose faite, car maintenant « lambahoany is the new<br />
black ». Nous proposons des vestes qui sont réversibles.<br />
Une face A stricte et corporate et une face B plus déjantée<br />
(un peu comme nous à bord du navire).<br />
Prime Media : Vous avez remporté la CBC Mada, et allez<br />
affronter des concurrents internationaux au Creative<br />
Business Cup à Copenhague, comment se passent les<br />
préparatifs ?<br />
Samira : Nous suivons actuellement des formations sur<br />
l’entreprenariat et tout ce qui tourne autour. On dort la<br />
nuit mais on rêve du pitch à faire à Copenhague. On tient à<br />
lambahoany et le drapeau malgache à Copenhague.<br />
Prime : You won the CBC Mada, and will face international<br />
competitors at the Creative Business Cup in Copenhagen,<br />
how is the preparations going?<br />
Samira : We are currently undergoing training on<br />
entrepreneurship and everything that revolves around it. We<br />
sleep at night but we dream of pitching in Copenhagen. We<br />
would like to say that it is with pride and honour that we will<br />
Prime Media : What distinguish your clothes from the<br />
competition?<br />
Samira : For the past year we have been working on the<br />
lambahoany with the aim of giving it more visibility and<br />
making it a "fashion" fabric. We can say that it is done,<br />
because now "lambahoany is the new black". We offer<br />
jackets that are reversible. A side strict and corporate and a<br />
B side more crazy (a bit like us on board the ship).<br />
