Maroantsetra, nous voilà !
On a tout dit, ou presque sur l’aéroport de Sainte Marie…l’état
de dégradation des installations et le manque de protection
incendie qui ont conduit à la suspension des dessertes
commerciales régulières et, ce faisant, accentué encore plus son
enclavement en bloquant là-bas des centaines de passagers. C’est
malheureusement l’état des lieux qui attendait ADEMA quand elle
a été désignée en Janvier 2017, délégataire de l’Etat pour tout
ce qui concerne les aéroports et aérodromes. Un gigantesque
chantier ! Sans attendre la mise en place effective du financement
de ces aérodromes secondaires à laquelle était subordonnée le
démarrage de leur exploitation, ADEMA a décidé d’anticiper en
fournissant, en plus d’autres aménagements, la protection incendie
nécessaire pour permettre la reprise des dessertes aériennes.
Protection incendie aux normes, évidemment…
Et le meilleur est à venir…

Everything was said, or almost, about Sainte Marie Airport ... the
state of deterioration of the facilities and the lack of fire protection
that led to the suspension of regular commercial services and, in
doing so, further accentuated its isolation by blocking hundreds
of passengers there. Unfortunately this was the state of the place
that awaited ADEMA when it was appointed, in January 2017,
delegate of the State for all that concerns airports and aerodromes.
A gigantic building site! Without waiting for the effective
implementation of the financing of these secondary aerodromes
to which the start-up of their operation had been based, ADEMA
decided to anticipate by providing, in addition to other facilities,
the fire protection necessary to allow the resumption of air services
. Fire protection as standard, clearly ...
And the best is yet to come ...

Du 06 au 08 novembre, l'ONTM accompagné de 12 opérateurs et de
la compagnie aérienne Air Madagascar, participera à l'édition 2017
du Salon World Travel Market (WTM) de Londres, pour accroître
la visibilité de la destination Madagascar au Royaume-Uni, un de
nos marchés prioritaires, et marquer une fois de plus sa présence
continue sur la scène internationale. Ce marché s’intéresse particulièrement
au birdwatching (observation des oiseaux) et d’une
manière générale au wildlife (nature, faune, flore) dont Madagascar
peut s’enorgueillir pour son patrimoine endémique et à profusion. A
chaque édition, le salon WTM réunit environ 50 000 représentants
d'Offices du Tourisme et d'opérateurs touristiques du monde entier.

From 06 to 08 November, ONTM, with 12 operators and Air
Madagascar airline, will participate in the 2017 edition of the
World Travel Market (WTM) in London, to increase the visibility
of the destination Madagascar in the United Kingdom , one of our
priority markets, and once again marking its continued presence
on the international scene. This market is particularly interested in
birdwatching and in general wildlife (nature, fauna, flora) of which
Madagascar can take pride for its endemic and abundant heritage.
Each edition of WTM brings together about 50,000 representatives of
Tourist Offices and tour operators from around the world.
