3. RESULTS
ICA results are shown in the Appendix. According
to the ICA results, the species having the most
significant association with terebinth tree are
Pinus brutia, Cistus creticus, Quercus coccifera,
Quercus ithabureensis, Spartium junceum,
Asparagus acutifolius, Cupressus sempervirens
and Palirus spina-cristi. The most important
negative indicatory plants of the species Pinus
nigra, Cistus laurifolius and Rosa canina as well.
With regard to the relationships between the
distribution of terebinth tree and categorical

environmental factors, according to results,
SHIST from parent materials and surface
smoothness are related to the distribution of the
species at the level of 0.05 (Table 2).
According to applied Wilcoxon rank-sum statistic
results, ALTITU, RADIND, ADEPTH, BDEPTH,
BSTONE, APH, BCLAY, BFIELD, BWILPON,
BWATER, CWATER are significant variables
