Abstract: This study, which started in 2009 and is part of ongoing our studies. In public known<br />
names such as “kebere, gebere, keber, kapari, kabar, gabara, gebele, gebre otu, deve dikeni, gevil,<br />
bubu, şebellah, yılan kabağı, yabani karpuz, kedi tırnağı, karga kavunu, keper, menginik, şefellef,<br />
feşelleh, kemberok, it kavunu, hint hıyarı, çaltı dikeni, yumuk, bugo, kepekçiçek, kapara, karir,<br />
kapri, delikarpuz, şeytankarpuzu, gavur karpuzu, karıncagülü” Capparis L. genus 2 species of our<br />
country is represented by 6 taxa. Related Taxa is a perennial length of life is about 150-200 years.<br />
Domint grown in the temperate Mediterranean climate, localities distributed in other regions like<br />
the Mediterranean climate. C. spinosa L. is a typical Mediterranean phyto-geographical region<br />
indicator. C. ovata Desf. spread better and more tolerant in terms of high except for Mediterranean<br />
region. Caper taxa being distinguished from all around the world is known as nutrition, treatment,<br />
used for erosion control, ornamental and landscape plants. The plant's buds, terminal shoots, and<br />
partly the fruits used for flavoring and seasoning to eat. Many people consume caper for food at<br />
the same time they are acquiring immunity against many diseases and treated. Obtained from the<br />
plant's leaves, rough branches and roots extracts and mush are evaluated cosmetics industry .<br />
Ministry of Forestry Reforestation Directorate by modifying the statute of 13. article caper plant<br />
use of forest lands proposed erosion control and allowed on 22 October 1996. Chalky and barren<br />
lands are breeding and gain the economy also an important plant used in preventing soil loss.<br />
Caper’s have very different patterns of usage and benefit of increasing commercial importance. In<br />
Turkey borders except for the Black Sea region the entire coastal strip well-spread by the public<br />
less recognition of the caper plant, a major economic loss for our country as a cause can be shown.<br />
Turkey's exports of caper a year gain of 18 million TL. (12 million dollars) that is hosting the<br />
world market is increasing from year to year. The largest exporter of caper Spain with the country<br />
$ 20 billion a year. our target reveal to the Caper's economic importance and biotic potential in<br />
turkey, an alternative source of income for low-income forest villagers to investigate ways of<br />
being.<br />

Özet: Bu çalışma, 2009 yılında başlayan ve halen devam eden çalışmalarımızın bir kısmını<br />
oluşturmaktadır. Halk arasında “kebere, gebere, keber, kapari, kabar, gabara, gebele, gebre otu,<br />
deve dikeni, gevil, bubu, şebellah, yılan kabağı, yabani karpuz, kedi tırnağı, karga kavunu, keper,<br />
menginik, şefellef, feşelleh, kemberok, it kavunu, hint hıyarı, çaltı dikeni, yumuk, bugo,<br />
kepekçiçek, kapara, karir, kapri, delikarpuz, şeytankarpuzu, gavur karpuzu, karıncagülü” gibi<br />
isimlerle bilinen Capparis L.(Capparaceae) cinsi ülkemizde 2 türe bağlı 6 takson ile temsil<br />
edilmektedir. İlgili bitkiler çok yıllık olup yaklaşık 150-200 yıl ömür uzunluğuna sahiptir. Ilıman
