SECRETARY-GENERAL’S REPORT 秘 書 長 報 告
The Community
With escalating public expectations on the responsiveness of
public agencies, the UGC website allows us to disseminate
information in a more timely and instantaneous fashion. The
UGC website describes our roles, membership, activities, and
the latest news. In March 2017, we launched the revamped UGC
website with a view to enhancing the website presentation and
web accessibility.
At the same time, the UGC also publishes articles and shares
information with the media on matters of public concerns in
order to keep the community informed of the latest decisions
and deliberations of the Committee. The UGC also responds to
media enquiries whenever they arise.
The UGC is committed to openness, transparency and
accountability in promoting excellence in Hong Kong's higher
education sector. To achieve this goal, we will continue to
explore more effective and innovative ways to communicate with
our various stakeholders, and continually seek ways to foster
better understanding and engagement with the community.

市 民 對 公 共 機 構 的 要 求 日 益 提 高 , 期 望 訴 求 盡 早 得 到 回 應 , 教
資 會 正 好 借 互 聯 網 之 便 , 適 時 快 捷 地 收 集 和 發 放 資 訊 。 教 資 會
網 站 介 紹 教 資 會 職 能 、 成 員 組 合 、 工 作 及 最 新 動 向 。2017 年 3
月 , 我 們 更 新 了 教 資 會 網 站 , 改 善 了 資 料 展 示 方 式 及 網 頁 無 障
礙 功 能 。
與 此 同 時 , 教 資 會 會 就 公 眾 關 心 的 事 宜 發 表 文 章 及 與 傳 媒 分 享
資 訊 , 以 期 令 大 眾 掌 握 我 們 的 最 新 決 策 和 商 議 事 項 。 對 傳 媒 提
出 的 查 詢 , 教 資 會 亦 會 盡 力 一 一 回 應 。
教 資 會 一 向 恪 守 開 放 、 透 明 及 問 責 的 原 則 , 推 動 香 港 高 等 教 育
界 更 臻 完 善 。 為 此 , 我 們 將 繼 續 探 求 更 有 效 、 更 創 新 的 方 式 ,
與 持 份 者 保 持 緊 密 聯 繫 , 讓 公 眾 更 深 入 了 解 並 積 極 參 與 教 資 會
的 工 作 。
