Presentation Ceremony of 2016 UGC Teaching Award
The UGC held the Presentation Ceremony of the 2016 UGC
Teaching Award on 8 September 2016 to honour academics
in the UGC sector for their outstanding teaching performance
and achievements, as well as their leadership in and scholarly
contribution to teaching and learning within and across
universities. For the first time, awards were given to awardees
under two categories: (1) general faculty members/teams; and
(2) early career faculty members (open to individuals only).
Over 150 guests, including the Council Chairmen and Heads
of the UGC-funded universities, senior management members
responsible for teaching quality in the universities, as well as
award nominees and other outstanding teaching staff, joined
the event to celebrate the achievements of the three award
recipients.

教 資 會 於 2016 年 9 月 8 日 舉 行 2016 年 教 資 會 傑
出 教 學 獎 頒 獎 典 禮 , 表 揚 教 資 會 資 助 大 學 優 秀
學 者 的 傑 出 教 學 表 現 和 成 就 , 以 及 他 們 在 大 學
內 外 為 提 升 教 與 學 質 素 所 展 現 的 領 導 才 幹 及 所
作 出 的 學 術 貢 獻 。 獎 項 首 次 分 兩 個 組 別 頒 發 :
(1) 一 般 組 別 教 學 人 員 / 隊 伍 ; 以 及 (2) 新
晉 教 學 人 員 組 別 ( 只 限 個 人 )。 當 晚 出 席 嘉 賓
逾 150 人 , 當 中 包 括 各 資 助 大 學 的 校 董 會 主 席
和 校 長 、 負 責 大 學 教 學 質 素 的 高 層 管 理 人 員 、
獲 提 名 的 學 者 及 其 他 傑 出 教 學 人 員 。 他 們 同 向
三 組 得 獎 者 致 賀 。
