General Terms and Conditions
The DGPPN has commissioned CPO HANSER SERVICE with the organisation and execution of the congress. Registration for the congress and confirmation
thereof forms a contract between the congress attendee and the DGPPN regarding attendance at the congress and events of the DGPPN Academy. This contract
is based on the General Terms and Conditions which are printed in full on page 114 of this invitation programme. Here is an excerpt:
Cancellation of Congress Attendance In the event that you cancel your attendance at the congress and events of the DGPPN­Academy for Continuing Medical
Education by 14 September 2009, the attendance fee minus a handling fee of 25 % will be refunded. The attendee will have the option to demonstrate that the
expenditure for handling is less than 25 % of the attendance fee. No refund will be made if cancellation is made at a later date. Please notify the congress office
of your cancellation in writing.
Programme Changes The DGPPN reserves the right to make any necessary changes to the programme at short notice. There will be no refund or pro rata refund
of attendance fees for cancelled presentations or changes to the programme.
Changes to the Programme of the DGPPN­Academy for Continuing Medical Education In the event that workshops are called off due to cancellations by
speakers, the attendance fees for these workshops will be refunded. This will not apply – not even on a pro­rata basis – if the workshops are taken over by speakers
other than those initially specified.
Liability of the DGPPN The DGPPN is the organiser of the scientific congress. It is liable within the scope of the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Its
liability – regardless of the legal cause – is limited to cases of gross negligence and wilful misconduct. The DGPPN is, however, also liable for slight negligence
if and to the extent that cardinal obligations under the contract are breached.
