Welcome Address
DGPPN – German Association for Psychiatry and Psychotherapy
As in previous years, the programme has been designed by the scientific programme committee
in close cooperation with the specialist departments of the DGPPN and the cooperating
professional associations and organisations at home and abroad who I would like
to thank sincerely here for their contribution. Our thanks go also to CPO HANSER SERVICE,
our skilled partner in planning the congress.
Finally I would like to mention a special treat that also has to do with our upcoming colleagues:
this year for the first time we will be offering a DGPPN congress kindergarten free
of charge. We hope that this service will make it easier for parents to attend and that it will
provide their offspring with some well­supervised and entertaining hours.
I am also firmly convinced that this year we have managed once again to put together an
interesting and varied programme which you ought not to miss. We cordially invite you to
make exhaustive use of it. I would be very pleased indeed to welcome you this year to the
DGPPN congress in Berlin from 25 to 28 November.
