O death, how horrid is thy taste,<br />

To lie with such a b----!<br />

ON A WAG IN MAUCHLINE.<br />

Lament him, Mauchline husbands a',<br />

He aften did assist ye;<br />

For had ye stayed whole years awa,<br />
